The two options for parents to send their children to school in Spain
are using the local Spanish school or a private school.
The Local schools are very good with international students as they
allocate them a “Buddy” who is a foreign student but is fluent in
Spanish, and will help the new student to join in. The Spanish state
education system is excellent and free of charge. Any qualifications
obtained are internationally recognized.
There are of course private Spanish schools but most of the students
will generally attend an international private school, which means the
classes are given in English with Spanish language classes separately.
Regarding Spanish local schools the system is the same as in the UK, the local schools are attached to a particular area.
